The HIRMINA PRIZE is an initiative to recognise and provide support and visibility to projects and initiatives related to the further development of sustainability-related education.
The goal of the HIRMINA PRIZE is to stimulate little positive changes. We want a better world for the generations to come.
Education is the cornerstone of social development to promote sustainable communities. Our efforts are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, The Agenda 2030.
The award is jointly developed and delivered by FuturED and The Global Education for Sustainability Foundation, both organisations are deeply committed to promoting worldwide access to higher education and sustainable development.
For the first edition of the HIRMINA PRIZE, fifteen projects and initiatives from eight countries around the world were submitted. The award ceremony was held during the International Gala “Education for Sustainability”, in March 2023, at the prestigious Caledonian Club in London.
The 2023 WINNER of the HIRMINA PRIZE was
VILLAGE BOOK BUILDERS from the United States.
The 2023 FINALIST of the HIRMINA PRIZE was Peace & Sport from Monaco.
