London, 30 November 2023 – FuturED will be part of this twenty-eighth edition of the Conference of the Parties, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from the 30th of November to the 12th of December 2023.

COP28 is part of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), which is the United Nations’ primary climate summit of this year. During this gathering, it is expected that the 198 signatory countries of the convention will come together annually to discuss measures aimed at limiting climate change and adapting to its consequences. It is important to note that all United Nations member states, in addition to the European Union, are part of the UNFCCC.
